Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This is an English translation of the Italian Terms and Conditions, provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Italian version prevails.

1. Seller

Federico Piazza, physiotherapist and osteopath

Tax code: PZZFRC91T21A564C
Address: Via Vittorio Gui 3, 50144 Florence (FI), Italy

2. Digital products and technical requirements

The website offers therapeutic video guides in digital format (video streaming), available immediately after payment. The video guides are in Italian. The products currently available are:

  • Shoulder Pain Video Guide (Video Guida Dolore alla Spalla) — rehabilitation programme in 3 phases (Acute, Sub-Acute, Recovery), 24 video lessons + PDF protocol
  • Emergency Back Release Video Guide (Video Guida Sblocco Schiena di Emergenza) — 8 video lessons + PDF checklist

The video guides are watched by streaming in the browser: you need a device (computer, tablet or smartphone) with an up-to-date browser and an internet connection. No app or account is required. The PDFs open with any PDF reader.

3. Prices and payment

Prices on the website are in euro and are final prices, with no additional charges. No VAT is charged, as the seller operates under the Italian flat-rate tax scheme (regime forfettario, Art. 1(54-89) of Law 190/2014).

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified platform. Credit card details never pass through or are stored on federicopiazza.com's servers.

4. How the contract is concluded

To buy, choose the video guide, press "Acquista" (Buy) and complete Stripe's payment form. Before paying you can check and correct the details you entered, and you must accept these Terms and expressly request immediate access to the content (see section 7). The contract is concluded, in Italian, when Stripe confirms the payment.

You receive the payment receipt and the link to access the content by email. These Terms remain available and printable on this page; on request we send you a copy of the version in force at the time of purchase.

5. Access to the content

Once the payment is confirmed, access to the digital content is activated automatically. Access is personal and cannot be transferred to others. The session is stored in the browser through a secure cookie (valid for 12 months); if you change device or clear your browser, you can recover access at any time from the /accedi page of the product you bought, by entering the email used for payment.

Access remains available for as long as the video guide is offered on the website. If we decide to stop offering it in the future, we will notify you by email at least 60 days in advance, so that you can complete it.

6. Licence

The videos, texts and PDFs of the guides belong to Dr. Federico Piazza and are protected by copyright. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to watch and use them for yourself. You may not share your access, download, record, copy, redistribute or resell the content, in whole or in part.

7. Right of withdrawal — digital content

Under Art. 59(1)(o) of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (such as streaming video), once performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.

By completing the purchase and accessing the content, the consumer expressly acknowledges having consented to immediate performance of the contract and having lost the right of withdrawal provided for in Articles 52–58 of the Consumer Code.

Notwithstanding the above, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee: if for any reason the content does not meet your expectations, contact us on WhatsApp or by email within 30 days of purchase and you will receive a full refund, no questions asked. This guarantee is a voluntary commercial choice, not a legal obligation: it is in addition to the legal guarantee described in section 8 and does not limit it.

8. Legal guarantee of conformity

As provided by the Italian Consumer Code (Art. 135-octies et seq., introduced by Legislative Decree 173/2021, implementing EU Directive 2019/770), the seller is liable to the consumer for any lack of conformity of the digital content that exists at the time of supply and becomes apparent within two years of it: for example a lesson that does not play or a missing or unreadable PDF.

If there is a defect, you are entitled to have the content brought into conformity free of charge within a reasonable time. If this is not possible, or does not happen within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract with a refund. To report a problem write to dr.federicopiazza@gmail.com or on WhatsApp.

9. Health disclaimer

The video guides provide therapeutic exercises for information and self-help. They do not replace an in-person medical, physiotherapy or osteopathic visit. In case of acute pain or diagnosed conditions, or before starting any exercise programme, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional. Dr. Federico Piazza is not liable for damage resulting from improper use of the content.

10. Dispute resolution

For any dispute about these Terms or your purchases, please contact us first at dr.federicopiazza@gmail.com.

The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued by the European Commission on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, repealing Regulation (EU) 524/2013) and is no longer available. Consumers resident in the European Union can still turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body listed by the competent authority; for cross-border disputes the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) is available, in Italy at ecc-netitalia.it.

If a dispute is not settled amicably, the Court of Florence has jurisdiction. For consumers, the rules on the consumer's court apply (Art. 66-bis of Legislative Decree 206/2005).

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated, for example to reflect new laws or new products. Each purchase is governed by the version in force at the time of purchase; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For anything not expressly covered, Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), Legislative Decree 70/2003 (E-commerce) and the Italian Civil Code apply. If you are a consumer resident in another EU Member State, the choice of Italian law does not deprive you of the mandatory protections provided by the law of your country.
